Sharing the gift of Reiki with all

For as long as I've been aware of the Reiki system, one large issue has followed amateur Reiki practitioners looking to gain additional experience. If a new student shares the same enthusiasm as I did for sharing and practicing Reiki, the lack of opportunities to share and practice may be discouraging at least and frustrating at most. As a student I considered opening a professional practice often. However, as simple as the system of Reiki is, I felt the need to hone my skills and become proficient in the system in order to live up to the level of professionalism I'd expect of anyone else. Regardless of the ease of the system, anything practiced allows for even greater competency. As such, I am a strong supporter of Reiki shares and practice.
Reiki shares allow practitioners of all levels to hone their craft in a caring and collaborative environment. With guidance and positive feedback, these shares allow practitioners to gain proficiency and confidence in their abilities. Practical and experiential methods are encouraged whist maintaining a level of freedom to allow the practitioner to operate in his or her comfort zone.
The positive reinforcement from Reiki shares is a two-fold gift. In addition to gaining confidence, through continued focused intention, practitioners increase the amount of Reiki she or he can channel; the more you practice, the better you become.
The final major aspect of Reiki shares relate to the circulation of techniques as well as personal experiences as a practitioner. Due to the open and intuitive nature of Reiki, many systems have branched from Usui's original methods. Reiki shares allow students from different systems to share and trade experiences, techniques, and or other related teaching and practicing methods.
